Welcome to Legacy Haven University (the “University,” “we,” “us,” or “our“), a 100% virtual training environment for elite IT and Cybersecurity education. These Terms of Use (“Terms“) govern your access to and use of our website, online learning platform, courses, labs, tutorials, forums, and related services (collectively, the “Services“).

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not access or use the Services. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review them periodically.

1. Eligibility and User Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Services.
  • You may need to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

    • Share account access or course materials with non-registered users.
    • Use automated tools (e.g., bots, scrapers) to access the platform without authorization.
    • Engage in cheating, unauthorized sharing of exam content, or any activity that compromises certification integrity.

All content on the Services, including text, videos, labs, simulations, and proprietary training methods, is owned by or licensed to the University and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

3. User Conduct and Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Services to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
  • Post or transmit harmful, infringing, defamatory, obscene, or unlawful content.
  • Harass, threaten, or impersonate others.
  • Upload viruses, malware, or disruptive code.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services or other users’ accounts.
  • Interfere with the operation of the Services or our virtual immersion platform.

We may monitor usage for security, compliance, and improvement purposes, consistent with our Privacy Policy.

4. Intellectual Property

  • University Content: All materials provided through the Services are for your personal educational use only and remain our property or that of our licensors.
  • User Content: By submitting content (e.g., forum posts, assignments, feedback), you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, modify, display, and distribute it for operating, improving, and promoting the Services. You represent that your content does not infringe third-party rights.
  • Trademarks: “Legacy Haven University” and related logos are our trademarks. You may not use them without prior written permission.

5. Payments and Refunds

All purchases are subject to our separate Refund and Returns Policy, which is incorporated by reference. Purchases of Virtual Test Preparation materials (including bundled CompTIA vouchers) are generally final and non-refundable, except in limited circumstances.

You authorize us (or our payment processors) to charge your chosen payment method for all fees. All fees are non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise.

6. Disclaimers and Warranties

The Services are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

  • The Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
  • Course content will meet your specific requirements or guarantee certification success.
  • You will achieve any particular career outcome.

We disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

CompTIA exam vouchers and third-party certifications are subject to the respective providers’ terms and conditions. We are not responsible for changes in exam formats, retirement of certifications, or third-party testing center policies.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the University and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including loss of profits, data, or career opportunities) arising from or related to your use of the Services, even if advised of the possibility.

Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the University from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from:

  • Your violation of these Terms.
  • Your use or misuse of the Services.
  • Your User Content.
  • Any infringement of third-party rights by you.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Services at any time, with or without cause or notice, including for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases, but certain provisions (e.g., intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limitations, indemnification) survive.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
