Legacy Haven University (“University,” “we,” “us,” or “our“) delivers elite virtual IT and Cybersecurity training through our proprietary platform. This Refund and Returns Policy applies to all purchases of our Virtual Test Preparation materials, which may include CompTIA exam vouchers as integrated components (collectively, the “Products“).
All sales are governed by this policy. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge and agree to these terms. We encourage you to review this policy thoroughly before buying and to assess your readiness for the training and certification process.
1. General Policy for Virtual Test Preparation Materials
Our Products are digital/virtual in nature, providing access to courses, labs, study guides, practice tests, and integrated CompTIA exam vouchers.
- Non-Refundable Nature: All purchases of Virtual Test Preparation materials, including those that bundle or include CompTIA exam vouchers, are final and non-refundable once access is granted or the voucher is issued/activated.
- No Returns or Exchanges: Products may not be returned, refunded, or exchanged after purchase, except in the limited circumstances described below.
- This policy aligns with industry standards for digital educational content and official CompTIA voucher terms.
2. CompTIA Exam Vouchers (Included or Bundled)
CompTIA exam vouchers provided as part of our Virtual Test Preparation packages follow strict rules:
- Final Sale: All voucher-inclusive purchases are non-refundable. Vouchers may not be returned, refunded, or exchanged.
- Expiration: Vouchers expire 12 months from the date of purchase/issuance. You must schedule and complete the exam(s) before expiration. Expiration dates cannot be extended.
- Vouchers are non-transferable, exam-specific, and subject to CompTIA’s full terms and conditions (including rules on retirement of exams, fraud, and unauthorized use).
- Lost, stolen, or misused vouchers will not be replaced or refunded.
Because vouchers are integrated into our comprehensive preparation packages, the entire bundle follows the non-refundable policy.
3. Limited Exceptions for Refunds
We may, at our sole discretion, consider refund requests only if all of the following are met:
- The request is submitted within 7 days of purchase.
- No access has been made to any course materials, labs, or platform features.
- The CompTIA voucher (if included) has not been issued, activated, or redeemed in any way.
- The request is for exceptional circumstances (e.g., technical issues preventing access that we cannot resolve).
Even in these cases, approval is not guaranteed. Partial refunds for bundles are not available.
Non-Refundable Scenarios (common examples):
- Any access to or progress in course content, labs, or practice materials.
- Voucher issuance or redemption attempts.
- Purchases made during promotions or sales.
- Change of mind after access begins.
- Failure to complete the program or pass the exam.
4. How to Request a Refund
- Contact us immediately at support@legacyhaven.university.
- Provide your order number, purchase date, and detailed reason.
- Include any relevant account information for verification.
We will review requests promptly (typically within 5 business days) and respond via email. Approved refunds (rare) will be issued to the original payment method within 10–15 business days, minus any applicable processing fees.
5. Cancellations and Chargebacks
- Pre-access cancellations may be considered only within the narrow window above.
- Unauthorized chargebacks or disputes filed contrary to this policy may result in account suspension and pursuit of recovery for any losses, including fees.
6. Additional Terms
- Digital Nature: Due to the immediate availability of digital content, standard return windows for physical goods do not apply.
- Platform Access: Once you log in or redeem any component, the purchase is considered fulfilled.
- Updates to Policy: We may revise this policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new Effective Date. Continued purchases after updates constitute acceptance.
This policy is governed by the laws of the United States and the State of [Your State]. Disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts therein.
